BUZZ, BUGS AND MICROSCOPES

 


Discovering, digging up, and looking at critters that surround us – an introduction to etymology, classification and microscopy.

MYSTERIES OF THE WATER WORLD: FRESH WATER STUDIES

 

 

 

Exploring the fragile balance of life within a freshwater ecosystem; Looking at the aquatic world and its interconnected macro and micro-organisms of plant, animal and protozoan kingdoms, using digital microscopy and underwater photography.

MAPLE SYRUP SCIENCE (March/April- weather dependent)

 

 


“Sugar Shack”: A fully functional maple syrup processing facility is on site. This traditional native and French Canadian activity will be explored historically and scientifically with a sense of adventure.

NATURE MATH

 

The mathematical wonders of the natural world – Estimating, counting and incredible patterns found in nature. Exploring the Fibonacci sequence mystery and ratios.
